Another oldie is back for another round... Donkey KongIt’s Donkey Kong, ruler of the jungle. The original giant powerhouse makes a triumphant return!
Looks like his giant punch is still the haymaker you remember. Don’t doubt his strength or you’ll end up with the ultimate headache! In other news at the E3 Press Conference, Nintendo announced the release date of Brawl for: December 3rd, 2007

Wedensday and Thrusday revealed a few Samus based things: First off we have Samus Final Smash: Zero Laser It's friggin huge... But unlike the other Final Smashes this one has a extra result, Samus loses her armor and becomes Zero Suit Samus Zero Suit SamusWhen Samus destroys her Power Suit, she’s left with the Zero Suit. What she’s lost in power and weaponry, she makes up for in speed!
Once she turns that Paralyzer in her hand into a whip, she has quite a long reach as well! Not exactly the straightforward fight you thought it was, huh?

Another return: YoshiYoshi’s back and bursting with personality! He can launch consecutive attacks and even smack around enemies below him mid-flight.
Among other things, he can now use his up special move, the Egg Toss, to increase the distance of his jump. That’s enough to earn him a hearty welcome, isn’t it?

Time for Phoenix to Rejoice... IkeFrom Fire Emblem, Ike appears! The fact that he can wield a two-handed sword with a single hand is a testament to his magnificent strength.
He brings his special move "Aether" with him as he crashes the Brawl party. Try for a single-stroke finishing blow with his mighty blade! It may not be Marth or Roy but hey the return of Fire Emblem Characters are always cool.

I would use Ike just because he looks the closet to my avatar character Dragin as I have ever seen... Btw, it seems Ike is from the Gamecube game Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance found a short thing about him of Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_characters_in_Fire_Emblem:_Path_of_Radiance#Ike[glow=red,2,300]EDIT: ((Copy and paste it, once again the url feature doesn't like colons >>))[/glow] Anyway another semi-importent update about the new Adventure mode which is what they wanted to strife to change since the last two single player mode as been sub-par at best. Looks like there is alot to this so I will just give what the site said: Super Smash Bros. Brawl: The Subspace Emissary is a robust side-scrolling action game!
More than anything, Smash Bros. is a competitive action game. People have been kind enough to praise its multiplayer, but we’ve never been able to create a fully fleshed out single-player game.
This time, though, we’ve managed to create a complete side-scrolling action game. It’s storyline isn’t overwrought—it’s hastened along by a bunch of quick movies.
The Adventure mode also emphasizes character development. You’ll see many famous characters persevering under the weight of their personal histories, shouldering their unique burdens... It’s really something you won’t see anywhere else.
With so many wonderful characters appearing together, it’s like a dream action game. We’re putting tons of fighting spirit into making this game, so I hope you’re all looking forward to it.
Oh, and this is all included in the same Game Disc, so rest easy. There is a movie on the site as well as alot of screenshots but I'm not going to take the time to link them all so check it out: www.smashbros.com/en_us/gamemode/modea/modea02.htmlAlso by the look of the movie it looks like Peach is back in the game but there nothing confirming it really.

Btw the main bad guy in Path of Radiance is badass. Called the dark knight or black knight or something cliche like that. None the less it would be awesome if he showed up to kick some ass.

This has to be absolutely the most unexpected character in the history of Smash Brothers, a new 3-1 Character: Pokemon TrainerNo way! The Pokémon Trainer has finally arrived. And it looks like he doesn’t do his fighting directly.
Instead, he uses the three Pokémon with him—Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard—to do the fighting for him.Apparantly much like you did with Zelda in SSBM, Pokemon Trainer switches character using the down Special Attack. The pokemon all share the same damage meter however they all have there own attack ability, in addition to damage they seem to have a separate stamina Variable that influences each different forms performance caused by keeping one out for too long or switch out far too often. Honesty, this was completely unexpected, I didn't see this one coming at all. It sounds unique in the manner of speaking. What I'm kinda glad that they used the original trainer design and three Pokemon from the beginning, those are classic as far as I'm concern. (I've despised most of pokemon beyond the Silver/God Versions of the game anyway. I wonder where they started to pull some of those designs from >>)
