My mom isn't in the best financial situation, and she's been wanting to get my little sister a game system. She apparently plays the hell out of an N64 at her friends house, with her son. I let her borrow mine for now with Mario Kart and SSB, she plays the HELL out of Mario Kart >_>; My little sister will be 6 on September 1st, and I found her the Pink Watermelon one on eBay for pretty cheap, conveniently, it had the matching colored controller.
GameStops here stopped really carrying those games about 2 years ago, but there is another store here that has about 150 N64 games. I didn't have very many of them, and they certainly weren't childish games. Can any of you guys recommend a few games that my mother and I can pick up for her that aren't anything too bad for a 6 year old? She's really good at games, I swear man, she's turning out like me at that age with my NES >_> I remember there being a good bit of more simple, kid games for the console, but I don't remember any titles really. Looking n eBay didn't help because they always have like 5 billion sports games with GoldenEye, Zelda, Madden and Mortal Kombat....which she won't like. My mom wouldn't have a problem with her playing MK, since she bought it for me for my Genesis... but she doesn't really like fighting games.
So far, I've got listed:
Pokemon Snap Quest 64 Mario World 64 Mario Kart Super Smash Brothers
Can any of you guys recall or recommend some games for me? I'd really appriciate it. ^_^

Uhhh... >_>; Actually its been a long while since I played an N64. So I pretty much forgot almost all the games for it. <.<; Hmm... Just how good is she at games? >_> I have a few recommendations, but I don't know if she would like them or be able to finish them. You could always try Megaman Legends 64 I guess, and is she likes pokemon you could always go with Pokemon battle or w/e it was called for the N64. The name elludes me at this point. Maybe when she gets older I would suggest Jet Force Gemini. Also, Zelda never hurt anyone. >.>

Most of the good n64 games can be found here. ign64.ign.com/index/choice.htmlJust ignore the M rated games. Note:I cant believe Blast Corps is not in there...

Wow, well I haven't seen it put up here so Starfox 64, that game was pimp. Hmm what else, if she likes scrollers then Yoshi Story would be a good game, also don't forget Paper Mario if she's into that. Oh and Mario Party, those games were really fun, just make sure you're not playing with people who take grudges seriously... I can recall playing with Zoph and his bro and we ended up shutting the game off halfway through because we were at each other's throats. OMG Revolt, that game was so awesome, you race these little RC cars everywhere, there's battle modes and stuff. However, the best thing, BEST, is the ability to make your own tracks. You can make the craziest tracks in that game, I got the angle on a hill climb so steep once you couldn't get enough traction to go up it. Awesome game Revolt. And even though she doesn't like Goldeneye NOW, still get it. I bet you'll end up playing it for a while and you'll still have it for later.
