Post your Mods here. PC, gaming consoles, whatever.
Currently, I'm about to start painting my little sister's gray N64 Pink, since we couldn't find a hot pink one on eBay when her birthday rolled around. I just got done cleaning it and taping over areas that I don't need to paint when I take it apart. Already got the special screwdriver too ^___^ I just need to find a bigger box to airbrush it in....

Wow... taking apart the N64 was different. I had to remove every damn screw on it because several of them connected to the bottom of the plastic casing, but I couldn't tell which one's because I had no side view what-so-ever. Got a new box to paint it in. Yay. Hot Pink Pearl here I come >_>
....problem being.... I may run out of coolant before I can finish the airbrush job. I don't have a compressor for it yet since theyre around $100 >_> So they give you cans of compressed air. I can always go to Wal-Mart and pick up a small one I guess....
Oy. The things I do for my little sister. >_>

So I hav a spray paint can of primer. Being that the N64 is dark gray, I figured a nice light coat of that couldn't hurt. It's lighten is a bit. ROFL. Something was up with is and the paint coagulated, it took like 3 minutes of holind the nuzzle down to get it to spray actual paint. And it kinda blew up all the coagulated paint on the 64 >_____> So I had to sand it off. Thank god I started witht he bottom first. I started using my model primer on the top half of the console, man a 64 would look good in white

So... I ran outta white primer.... Which means I'll have to go to Wal-Mart tonight. I hope they have some, thats more convenient than going to Hobby Lobby.... cause they close at like.. 7 or some shit. But I think theres another hobby store or two that carry the stuff I use that aren't far o___O
Gah, I feel supressed by freakin' stores' limitations on the shit they get. Wal-Mart SUCKS for model crap. *Kicks paint shelf*
Ugh. I would pick the most annoying hobby ever as far as locating omg. I had to get these metal files. WTF Hobby Lobby and Wal-Mart didn't have them, this other store didn't either. I Found ONE place in memphis that had them. They're TINY, which is what I wanted. Yeah, for $12.50 for files about the length of my pinky >__________________________> /rant

I think "Michael's" is a chain store, maybe you can find one near you. They have a lot of crafts and arts stuff there, pretty sure they would have paints and the like.

Pro Tip: When cracking open most consoles with laser reading technology make sure not to expose the laser at all. Doing so may result in loss of eyesight.
