ds.ign.com/objects/142/14279774.htmlAnyone else seem excited about this? They're making it more in line with PSO rather than PSU (thank god), and from what I've seen so far (there's a 4-5 page spread about it in the latest Nintendo Power) it's looking very good. You can't beat a portable version of PSO (granted there is a different one coming out for PSP with far greater graphics and whatnot, but it's more like PSU).

Mmm...from the screens I've seen it's got kind of a westerny feel to it and I'm not down for that. I think I'll stick to the PSP PSU title. Aren't they discontinuing the PSP? I might get it...but it depends. I have a damn r4 so it doesn't matter. I'd be really happy if we could all play together again ^____^

The DS game has the standard Nintendo Wifi online play with it
The PSP game doesn't have anything but local... there was suppose to be some connectivity to the PS3 to let you do that online but since I don't keep up with Sony these days I don't know how interesting it is.
Either way I wouldn't play the PSP game simply because I'm down right tired of PSU at the moment. (And of course my apparant lack of one)

The ds game has a western feel to it because of some of the outfits available to it, but I'm fairly certain they'll have other choices to it (the casts still look like their old selves). I think they're mostly showing western outfits and such to promote the new clothing options available.

Actually due to the limitations set forth by the DS each of the classes much like PSO are limited to a certain set of clothes... there are four full sets for each class and you pick between parts of the four models from what I understand.

I did have Pearl for awhile... but I eventually traded it back in because as much as I played the first two installments I never again have been able to get into it again.
But next month Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and Dragon Quest 5 both come out next month so those two will keep my DS busy XD
