So about two weeks ago there was a new family of ducks staying in our backyard, but they left behind one of the smaller ducklings(as well as a dead one ) My brother decided that we should take care of it until its fine on its own. Heres a few pictures of him because hes cool like that. Aside from initially being a little small there certainly doesnt seem to be anything wrong with him. He spends most of the day outside in the backyard taking care of himself but at night we take him inside and my brother carries him everywhere. Unlike most birds that freak out when you get near them hes pretty calm, although he does like to wiggle out of my hands when hes interested in something. Its actually supposedly against the law to take care of it since its a wild animal, and what were supposed to do is leave it alone in the backyard and starve and die naturally. Screw that.

That's odd I though ducks were consider eligablely legal pets, I'm not sure it probably differs from place to place, but I remember a numbers of years ago seeing baby ducks at a pet shop.

If Pikachu was a duck that's what it would look like.

Well the duck is gone now. My dad was mowing the lawn when he noticed a family of ducks near the fence with our duck on the other side and they were quacking/peeping at each other. My brother set him near the family and he just got into line with all the other ducklings and they walked on like everything was normal. Kind of odd but they seemed to be fine together. We checked a few times to make sure we didn't find him left anywhere and we found nothing. Wish I could have gotten one more picture though, he was almost twice as big as in the earlier pictures.
